This class aims to combine Pilates mat work and basic ballet exercises. Pilates training will, over time, improve your body tone, awareness and flexibility. The ballet work will put Pilates exercises into practice to help you develop balance, control and fluidity of movement. Classes use a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training and is also great for toning the very upper portion of your triceps.
