Alkionides Charity – offer a glimmer of warmth to the many and varied problems troubling our fellow citizens, by contributing either to their medical expenses or their daily needs (food, bills, education expenses, etc). Their income mainly comes from fundraising events taking place throughout the year
They offer financial support to the following main categories:

Dr Yiota Demetriou Dancing Queen Foundation – was founded by friends and family and is a loving tribute to Dr. Yiota Demetriou whose ambition to help children, in the field of child psychology, was cut short due to a tragic accident in November 2008. The accident was a result of a drunk driver.
Although Dr. Yiota Demetriou did not live to realise her dream, the Foundation aspires to keep her passion for children alive by enhancing the psychological health and welfare of children and their families.
Making educational and clinical support a priority, the foundation strives to meet its objectives by supporting programs as well as raising funds and awareness for children with mental health challenges.
Sagapo (‘I love You’ in Greek) Children’s Foundation – is a humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential through education. Sagapo commits in creating awareness to transform lives and restore hope. By educating the children of today, we envision positive change in current communities, and encourage the passing on of their knowledge to future generations.
Their mission is to create a better learning environment for children and increase awareness among their parents, communities, and governments about the necessity and importance of proper education.
